For heavier-duty applications requiring sustained performance, the 96V 20/40kW system is available in both air-cooled and water-cooled variants, producing 210 N.m of torque. The water-cooled version is particularly suited for DHL’s stop-and-go urban routes, where thermal management ensures consistent performance and extended motor life. These 96V systems provide the perfect balance of power and efficiency for last-mile operations, where average tour lengths in cities are typically 20-30 kilometers .

Our 144V Drive Systems: Power for Demanding Applications

For larger vans and light trucks handling heavier payloads—such as DHL’s 2-Mann-Handling subsidiary, which delivers bulky goods like furniture and appliances—our 144V systems offer superior performance . The 144V 25/45kW system delivers 210 N.m of torque, providing the muscle needed for urban freight with frequent stops and acceleration.

At the top of our range, the 144V 40/65kW water-cooled system produces 252 N.m of torque, making it suitable for the most demanding delivery applications. The water-cooling architecture enables sustained high-power operation, critical for routes with steep gradients or intensive duty cycles. This system’s efficiency directly contributes to the 4 tons of CO2e savings per vehicle annually that DHL reports with its electric vans .
